About the Event

Everyone is still talking about it but what is Mindfulness ?

It’s simply a mental state of calm awareness of one's body functions, feelings, and even consciousness itself that are experienced within the mind. It brings awareness & focus of the present moment, away from the past, the future, or some random train of thought. Mindfulness is recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence.  

It is being practiced in schools & the NHS to help with stress, pain reduction, high blood pressure & anxiety. It is also a lovely practice to integrate into your life to bring wellbeing happiness and contentment!  It is particularly useful to study it at this present time

The course consists of 8 three hour sessions practicing mindful movement, mindfulness of breathing, the body scan and other meditation techniques including mindfulness of everyday activities.  Home study is given with handouts and recordings of practices. Journaling is encouraged and other recording exercises.

This course can be for complete beginners and also meditators who want to go further in their practice and self development. As the course is on ZOOM it is being offered at half the usual price and it works really well online.

Cost £150 for the 8 session course.
